Helicobacter Pylori (HP) is a spiral-shaped, Gram-negative bacterium that can grow and reproduce in acidic environments. Helicobacter Pylori is the main causative factor of Gastritis and Peptic Ulcer, and is closely related to the occurrence of Functional Dyspepsia, Gastric Mucosa Associated Lymphoid Tissue (MALT) Lymphoma and Gastric Cancer. The World Health Organization's International Agency for Research on Cancer has classified it as a Category 1 carcinogen.
The treatment of HP includes antibiotics (such as Clarithromycin and Levofloxacin).
This kit is used for the in vitro qualitative detection of HP 23S rRNA gene wild-type 2142A/2143A, mutation 2142C, 2142G, 2143G，and HP gyrA gene wild-type 261C, 261T, 271G/272A, mutation 261A, 261G, 271T, 271A and 272G in stool samples of patients with HP infection. It is used for the clinical auxiliary diagnosis of HP Clarithromycin Resistance (23S rRNA gene mutation) and Quinolone antibiotics (Levofloxacin) resistance (gyrA gene mutation).
