AmTech) is a biotechnology company specialized in the R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and aftersales service of IVD products (reagents, analyzers and bio-raw-materials). AmTech was founded by an American scientist, Dr. John Chen, and another three entrepreneurs from mainland China and Taiwan in Sept. 2017. AmTech is based in Guangming District, Shenzhen, P. R. China.
AmTech has 160 employees now, including 5 overseas Ph.D. and 12 masters. All the key scientists have overseas study and work experience. John Chen has had over 20 years of R&D experience in biomedical engineering and IVD industry in the USA and China. As an Interdisciplinary scientist, he has extensive experience in organic chemistry, biochemistry, enzymology and immunology as well. After having worked at Johns Hopkins University and other world-first-class universities as a postdoc since 1995, he joined the IVD company in San Diego as a scientist in November 2000 and then served as an associate director of R&D department since 2012. He has gained abundant IVD industry experience, particularly, in the technology innovation, technology assessment, R&D, manufacturing and project management.
