The SARS-CoV-2 IgM-IgG (GICA) is used for the in vitro qualitative determination of SARS-CoV-2 IgM and IgG antibody in serum or plasma or whole blood by the mean of colloidal gold immunochromatography method (GICA).
A recombinant SARS-CoV-2 protein with 6xHIS is labelled with colloidal gold as detection antigen. The anti-human IgM/IgG antibodies are used as the capture antibody. The immunochromatography technique visibly detects the antigen-antibody reaction on nitrocellular membrane.
