The development of the ReDS wearable lung fluid measurement device is based on the Israeli military's“Through-Wall” technology, which utilizes a miniature radar system.

The basic principle invovles emitting low-power electromagnetic sgnals into the lungs and measuring the dielectric properties of lung tissue

The varing dielectric constants of these components result in differences in the impedance values for electromagnetic waves. Therefore, using the impedance method allows the estimation of the dielectric properties of lung tissue, which can be further converted into lung fluid content data through calculations.     

The ReDs obtained CE certification,FDA certification and China NMPA certification.  The ReDS technology is a noninvasive and easy-to-use tool to monitor fluid overload and help physicians to tailor daily diuretics, with the potential to reduce the rate of rehospitalization and is characterized by non-invasive, quantitative  precision, and efficiency, etc. It has been widely recognized by experts at home and abroad.
