美益达聚醚醚酮颅骨修补系统，由骨板和连接板组成，由符合YY/T0660标准规定的聚醚醚酮(PEEK-OPTIMA-LT1)材料制成。适用于颅骨缺损修复术、颅骨成形术等常见的神经外科手术，对已损伤、残缺或病变的颅骨进行修补重建的外科治疗。连接板需与骨板配合使用。
PEEK修补系统，具有良好的生物相容性，植入安全可靠；力学性能优异，弹性模量近似自体骨，强度超过自体骨，受外力不凹陷，有效保护颅脑；不导电不致热，减少患者顾虑，隔热性能优异，有效避免冷热刺激不适感；影像学兼容性良好，透射线，无伪影，不导磁，术后CT、MRI复查图像清晰，便于远期精准诊断；个体匹配嵌入式修补，避免材料切割性伤害，高度还原颅骨轮廓外形。是重建颅腔完整性，恢复外观、保护脑组织免受伤害的极优材料。能够有效配合术后恢复颅压、脑脊液循环以及脑代谢，减少颅骨缺损引起的一系列病理生理相关综合征的发生。
美益达PEEK颅骨修补板采用特殊亲水工艺设计，改善表面亲水性能，利于水分子吸附和细胞黏附，提高组织爬行生长能力，极大地减少皮下积液发生率。
