p16/Ki-67 immunocytological double-staining detection is a more objective cytological detection method. Abnormal double-staining indicates cell cycle disorders. The interpretation of the results is relatively objective and does not entirely depend on cell morphology. It can effectively make up for the lack of sensitivity of cytology, reduce missed diagnoses, and improve the efficiency of film reading. It is used in cytology ASCUS/LSIL triage, HPV positive triage, etc. to assist in the early screening and management of cervical cancer.
