The product uses a specificity test for a nucleic acid fragment of the monkeypox virus to rapidly identify and detect the virus. The kit has a high specificity and does not cross-react with Variola virus, Vaccinia virus, Cowpox virus, Camelpox virus, Ectromelia virus, Raccoonpox virus, Akhmeta virus, Alaskapox virus, Felinepox virus, Abatino macacapox virus, Sunkpox virus, Taterapox virus, Volepox virus. The kit can detect the monkeypox virus in Central Africa(Congo) and West Africa branches. It includes an internal reference primer and probe that can detect human-derived nucleic acid and perform quality control for the entire process, which includes sample collection, nucleic acid extraction, and amplification testing. The kit’s excellent sensitivity and ease of use make it ideal for performing differential detection on patients suspected of being infected with the monkeypox virus.
